Thanks fellas. I'm alot closer to Williamsport than Rochester. I like the flea market type shows, Sometimes you can find things cheap. I will look into that club. Hornell is a little far. But i'll check into it. Thanks for the help guys I love this forum.
In the past the Williamsport show is more of the flea-market type of show. If you're up for a bit of a road trip, there is a show in Rochester NY that same weekend. More vendor based with fewer flea market vendors.
Also not sure what you consider close but there is/was a club in Hornell, NY and I believe the NMRA has an active division in your area. (Southern Tier Division of the Niagara Frontier Region)

Click on resources, upper right, go to coming events, scroll through pages to December, it is listed for Sunday Dec. 5th in Williamsport,Pa. Under the name Whistle Stop Train Meet.
I searched there and did not see anything about it. I have looked all over for the information as well. any help?
If you click on the Model Railroader logo up at the top of the screen, then scroll down to the bottom, under "Resources" you'll find Railroad Attractions. You can search by state or zip code, and you can search for all attractions, or for train shows, or for groups (such as clubs) in a given area and time frame.
I live in Mansfield Pa. and I read a flier about a train show in williamsport Pa. It was dated around the first weekend in december. Does anyone know anything about this show? If so let me know. Also does anyone know if there are any model railroad clubs around this area?
