I have been thinking of maybe doing a couple of these also. I used to see Sandersville hoppers all the time at a mill up here in Maine, have not seen any for a couple of years now. Will have to check out the Intermountain hopper to see if it is close enough. Close enough is close enough for me.

Sandersville uses 4,000 cf Pullman Standard 3 bay covered hopper so a Intermountain 4,750 cf covered hopper is the closest and if you want exact you will need modify these hoppers because the length and height is off...
Since I hate chopping up high end cars I would simply paint and letter Athearn's FMC covered hopper.
