Flexible Handrails - What paint and glue to use?
Posted by egmurphy on Saturday, June 26, 2004 12:51 PM
Will the flexible plastic used nowadays to mold the handrails on diesels accept the same paint (like Polly Scale) that I use to paint the shell? Or will this paint flake off the flexible plastic? Should I be using something different?

Is any particular glue better at grabbing this slippery plastic? I'd normally just plan on using acc.

Thanks

Ed

For the paint use RC car polycarbonate . Unfortunately yhte color selection is limited and it can be hard to find if your LHS isn't into RC cars.
