A nice tribute to him.

I have come to wonder what would have happened if my folks hadn't seperated.  Dad liked to watch my train run around the table.  (I always stopped it, reversed it, stopped it and off again.  Mother said it irritated him, though he never showed it to me.)   Christmas usually had some Lionel things from him.  Had they stayed together would my model rr career started off sooner?  Both of them seemed to like the trains.  She had traveled on the real thing in the 30's as part of her job.  Your idea makes me think I should come up with something to remember them by on the layout.

Have fun,

Hey guys, I was at the hobby shop yesterday(when i bought my prodigy advance) and i saw a locomitive that was dcc ready, it was an athearn sd40t-2 in souther pacific colors. I decided to buy it cuz my grandfather worked on the souther pacific from the late 50s to the 80s then when UP bought out SP he switched over. but anyway, i was going to rite his initials on the side somwhere to comemorate his many years of service to the railroad.

GM makes cool things, Corvettes and Geeps :D
