looking for working/non working Tyco SD 24 engine for parts
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, June 21, 2004 6:54 AM
I've got a Tyco Chessie sd 24 that I need a few parts for and am currently looking for another Tyco Sd 24 that may or may not be working for parts. I have checked eBay but have been outbid as I'm at work when most of the auctions have ended and not able to watch, or people just want too much for them. If anyone has one please contact me.
Thanks!
Jonathan

BTW the parts I need are:
Handrails, wheel covers and 1 wheel.

You might consider simply buying an Atlas SD24. It will both look better and run better than the Tyco.

The only issue would be the lack of Chssie paint (Chessie didn't actually own any)

I know, but I only paid $8.00 for it. I bought it because the Chessie is supposed to be one of the hardest tyco engines to find, I lubricated it and it runs really nice, I just need to improve the appearance a little.
