Just a general comment and a great big thank you to all the modelers who contributed.   There are photos here where I have to do a double take to see if it is 1:1 or a scale model.  The work displayed here is truly exceptional and a real inspiration to this *** to get going on his layout.

Thanks to one and all,

Wayne

I dug around and found it.  I could not post on it cause it is locked now but here is the link.  If that does not work look up "show your favorite scene"

Some very nice pics on this thread.  I know it is summer and things are slow but so far they are amazing.

Colton_Proto_module_064

A module I recently put together to be included in the http://www.nlandpacific.com/ set ups. Theres quite a bit to add to this but first I will add another section at the far end and straighten out the access road on the left running along the tracks to Fogg St. next to a fire station. This is the BNSF mainline south of the Colton diamonds. In the picture you are looking north from the bicycle path.

Same ol' scene since it is the only one I have. That means it's my favorite.

I only have one completed scene right now, but it turned out looking good.
I have to agree! I was just there (the 1:1 version) and you captured it.

Really? Thanks, I appreciate that. I was just down there recently too, checking out the model RR layouts downstairs.

Ken, I love that second pic, that is killer looking!

I only have one completed scene right now, but it turned out looking good. My new mountain scene will be done soon though.
