Peco code 83

Does anyone know the status of the new Peco code 83 track and turnouts? I'm holding building my new layout until I can buy Peco code 83. Thanks

It's a new product entering the US market - and based on their code 100 and 75 should be a comparable product. Since it hasn't been advertised yet , it probably isn't available - maybe not even in production . Some things take time.

It's supposed to show up sometime this month I hear. Can't wait, Peco quality in US-outline track.

Mebbe they'll do Code 70 and 55 if this takes off.

There's a mini-review of the code 83 track in Continental Modeller magazine (July issue). Apparently they're at the "test-shot" stage - there's a few pictures of a No. 6 turnout assembled from early mouldings - they're planning to refine it and add more details before production starts. The NMRA Convention (Seattle) in early July is mentioned as a planned launch date/event.
