Well,sorry to say this the only way you are going to get a real looking switch is to hand lay it.As far as code 55,for N-Scale that is the smallest and closer to prototype, atlas just release N-Scale code 55.The switches you see in the magazines have under the table mounted switch motors.

I want to build a nice N Scale RR that looks realy nice what would be the best Switches to use and not spend a ton of money. I have seen some really nice looking layouts in some of the magazines that only show the switch and no switch moter. Also is Code 55 track the best looking track out there ?
