You will have to be far more specific as to what you have. Is it a set in a specific box describing the set? If so, what is its number and what does it say. Also, Fairbank-Morse "c-liners" were only made for Atlas by Rivarossi, having one 2 axle truck that was powered and one three axle dummy truck. Life-Like has just issued new "c-liners" this year (four axle A&B versions). Con-Cor did make a few Fairbanks-Morse "Erie-builts" using the V-Line body on its "PA" underframe. The best way to ascertain the value of such sets is on eBay, but you have to know exactly what you are looking for first!

Can anyone tell me an approxiate value in US dollars for a con cor box set containing a c-liner powered by Kato engine, with a dummy engine, approx 10 carriages and a caboose. I understand it dates from the 1980's.

Thanks. Mick Eagle
