Gregg, I got to agree with you! I haven't seen the artical, but we have alot of crappy dealers! And very few good ones. The only one I like is Tex-n-rails they have great service in, mail order/train show but I haven't gone to their store because of the 3 Hr. trip one way! But great service:-)

Great Train Shops in the South - sez who?

Living in the Florida panhandle, I looked with great interest to see which hobby shops are considered "The Great Train Shops in the South", as featured on the "trains.com" website today, Nov. 21, 2001. All I can say is that some of the great ones were left out and some of the ones I would not go five blocks out of my way to visit were included. Could it be that those who were listed PAID for the privelege?? If that is the case, and I strongly believe it is, that should be prominently noted. Advertisements should not be passed off as articles.
