I assume you removed the trucks when you did the cleaning?  Check them out, looks like you have installed them in reverse on one of the models.  Check out the metal pick up strips on the trucks, one model will be different than the other.  Just change them around on either one so they are the same and all should be right.

I have 2 Athearn SW-7 switchers. I have recent cleaned and lubed both. As I did my test runs, I noticed one ran in the opposite direction. Does anyone have an idea on how I could fix this issue?
