switchers in the railyard

I just bought two new switchers and i am trying them out now but the train seems to stop a little towards the end and derail what could this problem be, could it be that its not yet nailed down

Well, *is* it not yet nailed down? You can see it, we can't...if it isn't, then that is most likely the cause.
