Do you have any hidden or unique scenes on your layout?
I remember at the GATS back in the 80's one layout had a! bare naked lady !in one of the houses, if I remember right, it was a scale picture of the builders ex-wife! He only pointed this out to regular adult visitors.
On my last layout, I had a hidden camp scene deep in a woods that had to be pointed out, and it was the most fun to build of all my detailed areas.

On my first pair of HO scale modules I had a small river. I wanted to place some people wading in the water, so I cut two Preiser figures with bathing suits in two and glued their top parts in the Envirotex "water". I used the remaining bottom parts by gluing them together so their legs showed behind a shrub. This mini scene is at the back of the modules and would not normally be seen by viewers.
Its great when someone asks where I get all of the scale figures - I tell them I have them made, and there's one being made right now, pointing to the feet behind the shrub!
One of the members in our modular group also has a scene behind a shrub - a farmer getting real friendly with one of his sheep!
Lotsa fun!
