i have several of walthers' ready to run cabooses, including one each of their MILW ribside cabooses ATSF wood caboose, and one CNW style bay window caboose i want to paint for my fictional northwestern michigan shortline. how does one remove the shell from the underframes? my CNW bay window caboose in point has 3 screws holding the body onto the underframe are on the inside and in such hard to reach places there is no way i can unscrew them. i wish walthers had placed them on the outside, through the undeframe.
