A Catonsville child, eight-year-old Georgiana Frost of 32 Edmondson
Ridge road, was crowned Miss Model Railroader by Mayor J. Harold Grady
of Baltimore in ceremonies conducted on Monday night, Dec. 28.
Georgiana, who is in the third grade at Westowne School, won out over
four finalists in the contest which was conducted jointly by the
Railroad Community Committee of Baltimore and the Baltimore Society of
Model Engineers.
Judges were Aldine Bird, George Rogers and John Goodspeed.
The new miniature queen will reign over the model train display at the
headquarters of the Society of Model Engineers at 225 West Saratoga
street, Baltimore./
