Has anyone had any troubles with Railroad Model Craftsman's Safety Valve column? I submitted a letter to it about 4 months ago requesting to hear from other model railroaders interested in past and present shortlines of the southwest, the great lakes, and midwestern states. The only problem is RMC put down wrong state for my address. instead of saying Bay City, Michigan, it says in the January 2010 RMC Safety Valve, Bay City, Mississippi. If anyone gets the January 2010 issue of Railroad Model Craftsman, they should have had my address as being Bay City, Michigan. Oh if only Model Railroader could have a column similar to Safety Valve and that you could submit question via email.

They do. It's called Railway Post Office and the email address is proto@mrmag.com.

HTH.

It's really kind of hard to support your local hobby shop when the nearest hobby shop that's worth the name is a 150 mile roundtrip.
