Looking for some advice on transformers/power supplies for lionel 027 gauge. I have an old one that is questionable. Do they make any today for the postwar trains?? Are the old ones safe to be rewired?
Thanks for the help. Liz

Hi Liz, If you want an original transformer in good operating condition, sometimes in original box,go to ebay and in search box type "lionel transformer". You`ll find a whole pile of lionel transformers. Most of these have been tested for power output and condition. Stray away from those that aren`t. MORE POWER to you, Gerald

I can't help you with your question, but you can go to Lionels web site at either WWW.LIONEL.COM or WWW.LIONELTRAINS.COM (I forget which one)
