I would just plunk down a bunch of canvas tents, a bachmann camp train (On30) in the woods and run a track to the log loading area and presto! Camp.
Then I will buy something that fits and when the actual pernament camp is complete, move the bachmann camp trainset somewhere else LOL. All you need is a place for men to eat, cook the food, sleep and get water, tools etc.
There are many many many nice products for Logging. I think some of the best I have seen are made from nothing by hand.
A couple months ago RMC ran a 2 part series on solid wood buildings. I usually can't see the advantage except in certain cases. They gave good plans for a logging camp with some of the buildings sporting canvas roofs...something like a tent. They looked good & also looked simple to build. This is prototypical because the camp moved when all the trees were cut in that location. If you want, I'll look up the exact issues. jerry

I'd second the scratchbuilding. Grab a scale ruler (metal) at the local hobby store, then visit Hobby Lobby (or equiv) to grab some basswood, both strip and sheet. Since there is no "set in stone" building designs or measurements in logging camps, what appeases your eyes will work. Just use a couple basic elements, such as doors being 3ft wide and 7ft tall and build around it.
B.T.S., Rio Grande Models, JV Models, and Banta Modelworks have various structure kits which would be suitable. A collection of those would cost a bit less than the SierraWest set and could be acquired piecemeal over a period of time.
Sorry, no automated clothes dryers at this logging camp.
