Here goes:
Typical consist 17 cars
Shortened layout consist:
2 Genesis locomotives (Athearn)
2 Superliner Sleepers (Cpn-Cor 833 or Walthers 932-6111)
1 Superliner Lounge (Con-Cor 843 or W\lthers 932-6121)
1 Superliner Diner (Con-Cor 813 or Walthers 932-6131)
2 Suoerliner Coaches (Con-Cor 803 or Walthers 932-6101)
4 Enclosed auto carriers (Walthers undecorated bi-level 932-4800 or tri-level 932-4850)
Even so it is still an 11 feet long train.

Hello everyone,
I was wondering if anyone still has the may 2000 issue of modelrailroader magazine. In the magazine there is an article of how to model an auto terminal i believe that is bout the AUTO train in Lorton,VA and in that article is the consist on the train and how to downsize it to model it with less cars if someone could please help me and give me the model consist that would be great. THANKS SEAN.
