Stumpwood Gondola's............a question.
Posted by citylimits on Friday, October 16, 2009 11:56 PM

I am wondering how many, if any, of the roads you guys model ran gondola's in stumpwood service.

Stumpwood was/is used to manufacture, amongst other things, turpentine, Stumpwood remains in the ground after pine trees have been felled. The stumps are removed and carted of in gondola's to a processing plant, the Hercules Plant in Georgia is one.

Thank you.
