Hello Coldcrow,

Interesting handle you have there. Nice pics but way too few. Of course some of us have the opposite problem. I have almost a thousand pics of my layout which can quickly become quite boring.

Oh yeah, Welcome to the MR forum, a great place to talk trains and share the fun.

Welcome to the Forum Coldcrow. I just joined myself the other day, and this is a great place to share info, advice and pics.
And speaking of pics, looks like you're on your way with your layout. SOO Line, eh? Good choice.
Keep up the good work and keep us posted.

You should be thanking God you get that much space. Half a garage is HUGE!

How big is "half a garage"? My layout is currently 5 1/2' x 10', plus still on the ground (don't yell, that's my summer project).

Indeed...I've got an entire garage, albeit an 8x18 foot garage--but, since I already had a full garage when I got back into model railroading, my current layout is 6 feet by 2 feet, in HO scale!!

To be taken more seriously on this forum and other similar locations, please don't call your model train layout a "model train set". A model train set is considered a toy and not something a model train hobbiest would be associated with.

Looks Like your off to a nice start.

Your ahead of me in many repsects. I dissassembled my layout so I can move, But the move fell through so now I am layoutless for a while.

I really need to get some pics posted, someday...

as for the meantime nice pics crow, I started on a 4'x8' too. In fact that original board is now a module in my larger around the walls layout.
