Yes, you can change which function controls what through function mapping. Go to the SoundTraxx Web site and download the manual for the DSX decoder if you don't have one. You'll find which CVs to change in that publication. Sorry I can't be more specific because I don't have my DSX manual here at the present time.

I am wondering if you can change the functions on the DSX. For example, I want F1- front Gyralite, F2-horn, F3 bell, F4 Dynamic brake, and F5 rear gyralite. Is it possible to have that configuration in conjunction with a digitrax decoder? I have noticed Joe Fugate's sound equipped SD9E's have a configuration similar to this but how do you do it?
