Thank you, after 40 years I think she is a keeper. Thanks again. Dave
My wife is a professional artist, and if I asked her to paint a backdrop for me she'd hit me with it. Yours is definitely a keeper!!
This car stops at ALL railroad crossings!
Love the over pass and the rest. Very very good !!!!!
Thanks everyone for all the kind comments on my wifes backdrop. She is my " decorator" for my layout. She has a good eye for it. Thanks again Dave
I think that it is great that you are getting her involved. She did well. Now ask for her help in making some trees or planting some grass and before you know it she will be running trains right beside you. That is if that is what you want.
With my wife, she thinks the hobby of trains is a stupid waste of money (well maybe not totally true) but I'm sure if I had a layout she might think it would be more exciting.

wholeman She should start her own business by painting backdrops for people. She would make a ton of money if more people saw her work.

I thought that road was modeled and the backdrop was behind after looking more closely than my first glance!!!!

Do you think she could come over and me one? I don't even have a layout. My favorite picture is the one where she blended in the road with the overpass. I had to look for quite a while to see what I was looking at. She definitely has talent.

Love the backdrops man, your wife is an artist!
I am redoing my layout and wanted my wife to paint me a backdrop. Here is her work so far..not too bad for an amature. She even used some buildings she cut out of model railroader..
