pbuck, Sometimes weight might be a culprit as well. If you like the talgo trucks (which I spect as of now you do not) , try adding some weight to each ends of the cars once, before you change all of your trucks. Just a good natured offer.

an update to those who responded
i cut the talgo trucks and remo9ved the coupler from them and body mounted them
after that all derailments are gone I WILL NEXER USE TALGO TRUCKS AGAIN

I agree with locomotive3 it might be a coupler hitting the rail when it crosses. I would run the car slowely over the switch and try to figure out the exact point is first comes off. You'll most likely see the coupler catching on the rail. If not just watch it passed and that may help you figure it out

Perhaps the bottom part of the coupler is snagging as it passes thru the turnout??

You shouldn't be having problems with 60' cars on a 22" radius curve.
If everything on the truck is within spec, I'd look at the switch.
Are the axles sitting firm in the pockets of the truck?
I have Walthers 85' passenger cars & I've had no problems going around 22" curves even though Walthers recommends 24" minimum.

I was wondering if the talgo trucks on my 60' pass cars could be part of the reason i am having derailment problems with them
I hav checked all parts with a nmra gague and the wheels are life like metal wheels almost all the problems are at turnouts and can happen from any direction of aproch. I was wonderinf if i should put the couplers on the cars and not the trucks if this might help as a note my min radius is 22 inch in HO scale
any hrlp will be greatly apprichated
