larry, thanks. I was thinking about that also. I can make them flash using a timer IC as well. uxorious

I just hang a flashing red light over the intersection. that way you have a four way stop and no green light to contend with.

My opinion on stop lights (any scale) is negative: when the light turns green, the
traffic doesn't move. With a stop sign, it
seems more acceptable that the traffic is halted.

Lighted cars (and trucks) in n-scale would be a good way to add "life" to areas away from the tracks.

Need for N-Scale stop lights?

I am thinking of starting a new business of making N-Scale stoplights using SMT LEDs and special techniques I know of with my experience in SMT manufacturing. I am considering selling them through trainwebs and eBay. I would also be modifying cars (probably HO scale) with headlights and tailights ran by watch batteries.
My question is whether or not there is a desire to have stop lights (red, yellow, green) and/or lighted cars for N-Scale model railroaders.
