try Bachmann.com go to product search and then use the dropdown under HO and select figures.

I haven't seen a band but that doesn't mean Preiser didn't make a set.

Preiser is a pretty big player. Try www.walthers.com for more of their sets.

Also ebay under Toys & Trains, under Model RR, click on the scale,
then tracks, accessories & scenery, then figures & people. Under the HO
listing there are 238 listings. Keep on looking, if it's made , it may pop up.

I have to say that I've seen TONS of bands, but they're all marching or standing. Never saw any sitting down and playing.

This would be a little more expensive, but you could buy a marching band, and buy people sitting, cut the instruments off the marching band and glue them on the sitting people. It's a stretch, but maybe the only possiblity.

Of course, if I say that's the only possibility, 15 people will come and prove me wrong. GO AHEAD PEOPLE... PROVE ME WRONG for GreenIton's sake!!

chewie8han,

Thank you for that thought. I you hapen to see any country music figures you let me know?

( buy a marching band, and buy people sitting, cut the instruments off the marching band and glue them on the sitting people.) I could do that and probably will just on the because it might be the only way to get the job done.

But if anyone sees or hears about some USA style musical firures please let me know.

You can do a mix/match with sitting people and marching band memebers, but I would think it would be easier to cut them all through at the waist and graft sitting lower bodies to marching upper bodies (only one glue job per figure and more glue surface area than on the instruments themselves).

I could swear that Preiser has a set that is for placing in a gazebo in a town park. A t least my mind is telling me that but I don't suffer with insanity I enjoy every minute of it!

You're close, but I think what you remembered may be the Seated Circus Band - Preiser item 590-20259, $ 18.99, page 663 in the 2004 Walthers catalogue. An alternative might be adding instruments to the Seated Firemen, Preiser item 590-12187, $ 18.99, page 655.
