I believe that the item was called a grabber or something similar. A very similar item is available at Ace Hardware and probably other locations. Similar items have been available for years. I remember my father using one in his small corner grocery in the 50's. My 90 year old mother also uses one to pick up items from the floor of her apartment. They are widly available under a variety of different names. I don't know if the one advertised for model railroaders has any special modifications or differences from the others available.

For Lack of the corrrect name I am looking to find a tool that was advertised in the magazine it was made to reach cars in hard to reach places. Can anybody help me with the name and where to get this item. Chief
