Need a little help please! I'm working on a GN 200ton cranes and boom car.
What is the paint scheme and marking for the GN crane & boom car. anybody know of any sites with photo's of plans for the GN 200 ton crane and boom car?
The time frame that I'm looking for is before the GN and BN merger.

While you're Googling, type in Great Northern Historical Society and see what you get.

Also, type in Morning Sun Books. I'm sure they would have at least one of their all color books on GN.

I'd also suggest you go to yahoogroups.com and search. I'm almost positive they would have a GN email list you could join. There you would learn a LOT about the railroad and could ask questions on anything, and probably get an answer. A lot of times actual ex or retired railroad employees are members, too, and you get old stories and first hand information, straight from the "hoggers" mouth.

Good luck!
