That's too bad. A very nice person to deal with.

Jeez! Any details? Winston was from my area....central Maryland (and NewYork). I heard a vague rumor this morning about John passing away, but could hardly believe it. While in Maryland he was a fixture of the Great Scale Model Train  (Timonium) show. I was his very first brass customer purchasing a Westside models SP A6 4-4-2 in 1976, He moved to Montana several years ago and we lost touch.

My deepest condolences to his wife, Toba and family.

A posting on Trainorders.com stated he passed away May 27. His wife will continue the business.

Anyone hear of anything about John Winston, operator of Balls of Brass now living (I hope still) in Stevensville, MT.?
