http://railpictures.net/showphotos.php go to this website and it shows the real p42 Genisis from VIA Rail. An it looks the exact same as how you desrcibed the model. Green on the roof and along the bottom with the yelow that turns into gray along the sides! Hope this helps!

Paint Scheme Problems
Posted by THayman on Friday, April 30, 2004 7:11 AM
While looking at pictures of models of VIA Rail's new GE Genesis P42 locomotives, I've noticed that most incorperate a paint scheme with green on the roof and along the bottom, although on the actual trains it is a dark blue. Does any one know why this is? I have the Athearn HO model and it is the only one I've seen so far that used the correct colours, the blue. Kato, Overland Brass, and others have used the green which does not match the prototype. If any one knows why, I'd appreciate feedback.
