Sorry Antonio, new poeple just keep coming along and discover old topics. These graffiti topics are like unexploded land mines. But you as a long time member, and one who has been through this stuff, you have a map of the minefield. You know where not to step, but others don't. I'm watching, because I placed this one in the field.

I'm not real keen on the fact that this side topic was started, but I think it will "blow over" if we just leave it alone. If I had caught the post to the original topic first, I would have let this one die. I did place a new response on the other topic, one which you might find interesting.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I am rather proud of the 3 graffiti topics. They have been fun, entertaining and perhaps educational, even if they have been provocative. I think it is interesting to see some of the things OUR TRAINS get us into.[swg]

Good G0000000000000BLEEY!

I'm sorry guys, I know that I've stated that I try to be supportive of my fellow Topic Posters as they've been kind enough to respond to by posts, but I had hoped that this particular issue was already "tried, fried, and kapootskied!"

Sorry fellas, I guess for me, being reminded of graffitti and tagging just starts my blood boiling! As I stated I was a New Yorker as a kid and riding "GRAFFILTHY" laden subway cars is not a memory I cherish! We had no choice but to look at it. Young people were shot over "graffitti related issues". [V]

This so called "art" IS NOTHING NEW! A lot of the 1970s and 80s Graffiti depicted highly detailed people, sky scenes, buildings, hot rods, gangs, etc. However, I still become infuriated when I see "tagged" freight cars rolling by. A lot of gang members talk about "Dissing", being "Dissed" and "Giving Respect". Since I work with young people, I know for a fact that many taggers think along these lines. I call them Hypocrites as they're showing "ZERO" RESPECT for the property owners and are "DISSING THEM" as well as our own country.

Yes, I feel emotional as I write this, but to those of you that are taggers I would calmly suggest that you "tag" the interiors and exteriors of your apartments, town homes, houses, etc.

Well, If there are no takers then Please Use your incredible talent for legitimate art work that will be RESPECTED and ADMIRED by the public instead of trashing our resources. Terrorists are already willing to do that on a giant scale.

Gentlemen and Ladies. Again, I thank you for responding to my posts as you've been so helpful, however I will no longer respond to posts regarding this issue.

Humbly, Over and Out!

"I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"

Wazzup Jade, are you one of "my graffiti boys"? If graffiti is your game try one of these topics.

Sorry, I see that you did find the topic. I hadn't looked that far down, and found this one first.

[^], obviously it is all the first two, art, poetry, the expression, what type of mood your in, you know. not this crap that everyone thinks it is just a way to rebel and **** off people, just to express and say, "hey, check this out!" nothing else and sooo much more. people need to realise this, but I also think, that maybe we should just do it in abandoned places and places not seen by public you know, I also think it sucks when people gotta clean up our messes. Especialy business that have a good rep, whether or not they are a good one or not, it sucks and ain't right. I think trians are an awsome thing to right on, you can draw things, tag um up and the whole world is most likely to see your art. I also think, if you are to do it where the public can see it, atleast take your time and make it look, "good", lol![:-,]
