Advice to Newbies from a Newbie.....Use Search
Posted by simon1966 on Tuesday, April 27, 2004 2:14 PM
A quick note to point out how incredibly helpful the search option is in this forum. I had a query about ballasting and needed and answer faster than waiting for folks to reply and was delighted at the wealth of information revealed by the use of a simple search. It is amazing how many times the same question about ballast technique has been asked since 2001! Anyway, thanks to all the members that share their information. This really is an excellent resource. I suspect that there are not many questions that have not been answered during the last 36 months.

Good advice! And remember... in model railroading, there are often three or four (or more) right answers to any given question!
