 Hi,

Here's a thread dating back a few years.  Some tidbits of info that may be helpful.

After waiting a long time for one to emerge from a producer, I have started to consider building a New Haven EF-3 from a Freteshe Brasillian prototype double-ended motor.  has anyone done this and if so, what did you run up against in the planning and doing?  it does look very plausible, with the exception of the axle suspension system.
