Thanks to a few helpful people at Yahoo's CB&Q group, I have the consist of the Zephyr I want to model: Consist (St. Louis to Burlington) as of 1947 (I model 1948) Power: CB&Q #9913 E5 "Silver Wings" Mail-Baggage: CRI&P #500 (heavyweight) Baggage: CRI&P #861 (heavyweight) Coach: (52 seats) CRI&P #312 "Waterloo" 10/3 Sleeper: Pullman "Cedar Rapids" 24/16 diner Sleeper: CRI&P "Rocket Tower" Parlor Observ: CRI&P #433 "St. Paul" Does anyone have any information on these cars, or are there any books with info. about them? And look at the motive power-I'll have to kitba***hat stinkin' E5 now.[;)] The same people who emailed me this said to go to Rock Island Technical Society"s (RITS) website.
