I have it, actually I have a couple of copies I think. It was originally made I believe to be included in the "World's Greatest Hobby" track sets offered by Atlas, Bachmann and Kato. It was also available separately for a very low price, and I think MR or RMC or somebody maybe offered it at one time for free as part of a subscription deal or something. Anyway I would recommend it to a newcommer or actually anybody, even somebody who's been in the hobby a while might pick up some new ideas from it.
Just happened to see it today. Very thorough explanations of how to do it. Excellent for someone wanting to do something with a model RR for his children.
The trackplan is very basic, but the principles he explains would carry through to a more sophisticated layout.
Anybody out there have a copy of a DVD called "Building Your First Model Railroad" by Michael Gross? I believe that it was part of the Worlds Greatest Hobby promotion.
If you have a copy, I'd appreciate your opinion of its content.
Thanks
