Cleaning o scale track

 How about Z, N, S, O (not all O is Lionel tinplate), On30, On3, HOn3, Nn3, and all the rest?

 Even though HO is the scale here I use a Centreline track cleaning car with the roller in it moistened with mineral spirits. Someitmes I use a flannel rag wrapped over a couple of fingers and moistened with mineral spirits. The Walthers Brite-Boy works well too. DON'T use Goo-Gone as it seems to attract dirt.

The Centreline track cleaner is available in several scales as well as HO.

I am running Lionel Train Sounds  and the sound is intermittent with dirty track. Do the track cleaning cars work? What is the cleaning medium?.. rio bill
