Hi Jeremy,

Seeing that you are running AC, and have a Lionel KW, I suspect that You are running 3 Rail O-Gauge, come on over to the Classic Toy Trains(CTT) forum, you will get more and better info & advice over there.

Using a KW should not have hurt your Railking locomotive, what is it doing/not doing, that makes you think it is fried?

Doug

May your flanges always stay BETWEEN the rails

I think I probably fried a MTH Railking w/ protosound/smoke. It was suggested by a shop to purchase a Lionel KW transformer, I probably should have bought the MTH DCS system, but I thought these old shop owners would know more about AC transformer and DCS systems more than I. So, I probably just threw away a good deal of money, but "live and learn", I guess. Not a good day, Jeremy
