Well, I don't know about n-scale, since I model in horribly oversized and a look is all it takes. If you can't see the difference, how about a caliper, micrometer or just a scale ruler? If you had one set of a known size then you could compare others to it. Even touch might be enough to notice the difference.

Grumpy--I'm grumpy--I just took a closer look at all my rolling stock and I discovered that there is a least 55 pieces of rolling stock that have truck sides somehow not even agreeing with the other side of the wheelsets!! Is this even possible!? Anyway, now that I'm into getting more 'period correct' I'm going to need some information on what trucksets were being used in the 1970's/80's and whether these sets were particular to specific types of rolling stock. This way I CAN ACTUALLY GET SOMETHING MATCHING HERE!!!Banged Head

AND another thing--yes, I'm piculous here!--grumble snort---how does a person find out whether what they have is a 33" or 36" wheelset? I'm in N scale too---

Excuse my SoapBox---any help is greatly appreciated !!Bow
