I make my own custom decals with my computer.

I have a Mac G4 with Adobe's Photoshop and Illustrator, but you could make just as good decals with a windows machine and any good graphics program.

I buy blank decal sheets at my LHS, in 8.5"x11" and I have an ALPS printer so that I can print it white as well.

I think there was an MR article about this a few years ago, and it's not hard at all. Custom decals are also a great way to weather, and make custom signs for your line. I also find that since I can make my own decals now I'm less likely to go out and buy them, which saves me money in the long run.

Well I'm in the middle of converting a HO scale Rivarossi Pacific into a CNJ Blue Comet G3S Pacific and now it's time to start looking for decals. I'll need some custom made ones for the locomotive, so can anyone suggest who does good ones and whats involved on my part to get the made. Thanks for any info or advice. Sincerely Brian
