The inner panes of the cab windows slide closed if you look carefully. They are already installed and won't be in the parts bag.

The gap between the trucks and the fuel tank is prototypical. I have three of the Rio Grande. Check your model against the prototype. The old BB models were one size fits all, whereas the new SD40T-2 models have version specific details.

Hey guys, i was jsut wondering if any of you got one of the new SD40T-2's that they just released.  I got one, and its pretty nice, but there are a few things I'm wondring about.

Did yours come with cab windows?  The sides of the cab are open.... and theres not anything in the parts baggie....

and also, does anyone know why the distance between the front truck and the front of the tank is so great?  Its a pretty significant gap....   and I have a few older Athearns, and they aren't like that.
