Does anybody now how to remove the shell on a P2K SD7? I already had a heck of a time getting it on, and now it won't come off!

My front drive shaft became dis-connected. In re-connecting there's a little more work involed including
removing the weight screws to give you more finger room to re-connect.
Thiis happened to another modeler as well. It was his reponse that saved me the trip to the PO to return to LL.

Thanks for the tip!
Got a P2K Limited Edition SCL SD45 a few month back off of Ebay. Beautiful unit! For me what's special about this unit is that it is number 2021. The prototype would come to Tampa on long distance freights back in the 70s. It would stay a short time and left northbound with another long distance freight.
I do want to remove the shell to check out
"What's under the hood".
Definetly a candidate for DCC sound from Soundtraxx! Though I admit that based on the diagram, things sure do look cramped under there!
"
I like my Pullman Standards & Budds in Stainless Steel flavors, thank you!"

There are ONLY four screw necessary to remove.
Remove both coupler box assemblies.
Remove screw just in front of Fuel Tank,
towards side of loco.
Turn rear truck slighty to observe screw
when looking through inside of sideframe.
Ignore all other screws.
