Do Railpower GP35 shells fit on Kato GP35 chassis?
Posted by darth9x9 on Tuesday, April 13, 2004 12:04 AM
I started to strip 5 Kato GP35 shells with Chameleon stripper in March of 2003. The next thing I know, I built a house, attended a few train shows, hosted a photo shoot for a model railroad publisher, and quite a few holidays later, I take the shells out of the stripper after being in there for 13 months. [:0] For the record, all 5 long hoods made it fine, one of the walkways looks like a ride at Disney World but all 5 cabs distorted. [:(] So I researched the availability of Kato GP35 shells and they have none. So my next thought is Railpower GP35 shells. Does anybody know if the Railpower GP35 shells fit the Kato GP35 chassis with little or no problems?

Modular railroading at its best!
If it has an X in it, it sucks! And yes, I just had my modeler's license renewed last week!
