If you have good trackwork it will. I have Life-like Powerlock track with good joints and good track.

I have Atlas 8-40cw, 8-40c, U30c and all run fine at all speeds. I also have a Kato C44 and SD70Mac with no problems.

a long shank coupler between engine rear and first freight car for the swing on engine rear. I did this on only the first car and run a 17 car string with no problem.

Question About An Atlas HO DASH 8-40CW Locomotive

I was wondering if this loco will handle 18'' degree turn, the site recomends 22" minimums however, I have an Athearn 12 wheeler that will handle the 18" turns with no issues. Just want to make sure that I can do the same with this before I purchase it.
