P2K SD 45 shell removal

I encountered problems trying to remove the shell on my new SD 50. The instructions are incorrect. I did not have to remove the fuel tank as instructed. The two black screws near one of the trucks did the trick. I suspect a similar process is needed for the SD 45.

Well, I didn't find it that hard to spot and I removed them easily. However, complete disassembly of the cab, nose, and engine compartment is a different story. They use a super strong adhesive to hold all these parts together, making it a nightmare to disassemble.

Unlike earlier models, a few extra screws. The one under the rear truck, left side is hard to spot
and not necessary to remove the fuel tank, I am told. Will see when mine arrives.

Hmmmm... I didn't have a problem removing mine. What is causing you problems?
