Mark,

Thanks for your information. I work as a structural engineer in a bridge office. I plan to display the bridges at work after I build them.

Ed;

I have built the bascule bridge. It is a nice model and goes together well. Hints would inlcude lots of clothes pins or another means of holding the sides of the girders together and a good flat serface. Be very careful when aligning the gears and housing if you want the brigde to operate. The leverage on the model is such that good alignment of the drive gear with the lift arms is important. Good luck. Mark

Walther's moving bridges, HO scale

I am considering adding the two Walther's moving bridges to my collection this year. Does anyone have any experience with the Bascule or swing span bridge models in HO scale that they would like to pass along?

Thanks for your help. - Ed
