MR and Trains forums are cool (and obviously popular) but live chats with MSN are even better, because it is all in real time! It is definately worth downloading MSN (if you haven't already) and add railfans from these forums, to get good discussions going!

Welcome to the forums. [8D]

Ed is Ed Blysard a railroad worker who answers a ton of question for people in the trains.mag forum. He lives in Houston and works for the Port railroad there. Mr. Hemphill has referred to Ed as "The Voice of Reason". See the thread started by Nora in the trains.mag forum called, Stupid Question Thread.

I hope this helps you. [:D]

Model Railroaders and MSN Messenger Chat
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, April 4, 2004 7:20 PM
Hi All [:)]

Many of you know me from MSN chat or some of the other forums. [8D]

We have a growing family of forum members who are modelers and railfans, and who are also msn chat members. If you have never been in one of the chats you are all welcome to join the family. We help each other with question and answers, have fun, tell jokes, trade layout pics and railfanning pics. If you have MSN Messenger just add the forum members who display the MSN icon to your buddy list. If you don't have MSN Messenger I will post a link for you to download it and join our chats. EVERYONE is welcome. We have chatters from age 12 on up. There are people in chat that you know from the MR forum so don't be shy. The download is free and easy. [:)]

If you have any questions please email me or Mikey Gaw. Either of us will be more than happy to help you. There will probally be other MSN chat members who will also post in this thread and I bet they all will be glad to help you if need be.

Come join the chat family. Everyone is WELCOME. [:)] [;)]

Here are links to help you with the download or for help.
