Nicely done. My kids try to get me on that ride everytime we go to HP. I am getting queezy just looking at your model!!  That planetary motion is too much for my stomach to bear!

You could probably get away with one motor to spin the main mechanism and the smaller arms w/ the vehicles and one other motor for the lift mechanism, but that may be a little pricy

Thank you - it is a lot of fun!  Unfortunately it is just a static model.  I can move it up and down the tower, but the other motions are left up to the viewer's imagination.  I hoped to make it operational but in order to recreate the motions in HO Scale was too complex for my skill level and would cost too much right now.

Model Hersheypark Amusement Ride

Hello,

This does not really apply to railroads per say, but I thought I would post pictures of a project I have somewhat completed.  I have created from scratch using styrene, paper, and ceramic clay, an HO Scale replica of Hersheypark's "Flying Falcon" amusement ride - to be added to my work-in-progress amusement park collection / future layout.

I have found links to two youtube videos that show the original:

And here are pictures of my project:

Here we go again:

Still a work in progress, but it's time to move on for now.  Thanks for looking!
