You have to have webspace somewhere to store the images, then include the full URL of the image between [img.] and [/img.] (delete the periods).

Example: I have photos stored in my website at http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/sue.ellen/photos/prototype/. I want to post a photo called "148Brookfield.jpg", so I insert it in this post between image tags:

[img.]http://www3.ns.sympatico.ca/sue.ellen/photos/prototype/148Brookfield.jpg[/img.].

Delete the periods from those tags, and we get this:

Hey snake, where ever did you earn a name like that? Thanks but I don't have a web site. Can I use someone else's website or would it be easier to get a website?

You should check with your ISP. Normally they offer subscribers a small amount of free web space.

Snake is a slang word for a railroad switchman. Because I change my mind (jump tracks) so often I though that being a switchman would be appropriate. [:D]

Free but limited daily transfer

Sign up, upload a photo, follow instructions to get to your file, copy the url address under that file and paste it in the signature box in your profile.
see FAQ on how to add images. Very simple. Be sure to check the Enable 'Display Signature' by default? box under board settings.
