a pair of BNSF Dash-9s exit the Bozeman tunnel pulling a mix-freight train on a sunny Montana Summer day.

Yah, I know its the same ol' photo that I have shown before but it's the most recent one that I have.

For those that don't know this is taken on my HO diorama outdoors of the Bozeman Pass.

Forgot to include the post.

Thank you!  I just feel bad that nobody is driving this train.  Yesterday I finally got around weathering the tracks and putting the smoke stain on the tunnel porthole.  Someday it will be finished. Someday

Here's a vacation shot from a couple years back.  I think the composition is almost perfect, but that was a complete accident.  I love the Colorado scenery, and the whale-back tender.

I have figured out what is wrong with my brain!  On the left side nothing works right, and on the right side there is nothing left!

Jimmy,

When you click the IMG bar under your photo, open your post or reply box on the forum and right click and select paste or hit 'Control-V'. That will drop the link into your post and your photo will display once you hit post. I took the liberty of going to your album and doing the process here:

Instead of using the HTML code of the photo try using the IMG code.

On this mid week Photo Fun, I think there should have one ruel. It must be a NEW PICTURE, not one from WFP. Pictures that are posted here, should not be posted on WFP. We must remember that this site is free to us, but Model Railroader is flipping the bill and pictures take a lot of band withe. It is a great idea and I love to look at the work of others but lets keep it fresh, deal?

I like that idea. I'd also like to mention that this just runs till it hits between page 20 or 30 (mods, feel free to lower that number). Then we create a new one. Like the trackside diner. WPF still happens, and this thread still runs while that happens. Great work everyone, and I know, i don't have any pictures of my figures, sorry, still not done installing them. Who knows when I'll get that done though, lol?

There seems to be something different between IE7 which you are using and IE8 which I am using!

Internet Explorer 8 is still in a Beta phase...it might be you have encountered a bug within IE8 and not the forum software. I'd roll back to IE7 and see if that helps your situation.

The above is what my posted response looks like if I do not reassemble my lines via locating my cursor at the beginning of a line and then backspacing to rejoin my text.

Here is what it looks like after reassembling:

There seems to be something different between IE7 which you are using and IE8 which I am using! I did the following twice: REPLY; QUOTE; PREVIEW; COMPOSE and all I managed to do for my efforts was freeze up my Explorer; I had to hit the little "X" in the upper right hand corner which sent me back to the sign-in screen.
I don't think I need go any farther.

There are a couple of things which have cleared up; maybe this text editing problem will be next!

Previewing is no problem but unless someone can advise me to the contrary all you can do is "Preview and Post" If you want to Preview and Edit" you have to first "Preview and Post" and then "Edit". I was advised on Thursday that what you need to do is
Preview and Compose" but all that does is hangs my Explorer and sends me down the "reboot" path!!! Which, of course, causes me to lose everything.

Let's see...I have quoted your text, and now I'm going to preview it and then attempt to edit the post to correct the "loose" to 'lose'....

When I clicked "Preview" only your quoted text appeared. When I then clicked "Compose", the message box appeared with my first line of text still intact without locking up my PC.

What browser are you using? I'm using IE7.0.

Don Z.

ollowing twice: REPLY; QUOTE; PREVIEW; COMPOSE and all I managed to do for my efforts is freeze up m

y Explorer; I had to hit the little "X" in the upper right hand corner of the information box which aborted my text a

sent me back to the sign-in screen.

As I said yesterday--or the day before or whenever--there seems to be some problem with somebody's text ed

itor. There are a couple of other problems one of which is that I have no automatic carriage return until I have

typed a hellaciously long line--I haven't actually counted it buy I know that it is more than one hundred charac

ters long. Editing is almost impossible on a line that long; to freeze the line at a given point I have to chop the lin

up into shorter lengths, do my editing, and then reassemble things.

Oh, well!!!

This scene no longer exist. Its all reformed glue shell now.

That is absolutely gorgeous scenery. If ever a layout scene was "perfect", this one is it.

The next time you change scenery I'd be more than happy to take the old one off your hands and move it to my layout Smile

A little project I've been working on. I'm about ready to start adding the rusted roof panels, 4'x10' scale sheet by 4'x10' scale sheet.

Dear "Spray Can Rembrandt". The proto-typical Police are pounding on your door as I type. I thought your layout was modern diesel?

Smile,Wink, & Grin

Why do you think it's going to be a structure that's in use? It's going to be a long abandoned structure along an equally abandoned stretch of track littered with rolling stock that's no longer in use. The reason I'm adding rafters is because some of them are going to be exposed as some of the roof panels will be missing. Is my intention clear now?
