Sigh 150 emails this morning. My god its the worse case of spam I get. lol lol

I did have to call the 800 number yesterday to get help could it be a setting on your (MR) end over riding the setting I can change?

Found the setting. Its under options bottom left of the forum page. I must have set it wrong while exploring the site yesterday.Dunce

Good to go! Thumbs Up

I like the email notifications regardless of the number. It lets me easily see followup messages to threads I have posted in. The ability to "turn off" a single thread is a great feature, since sometimes the thread deviates from the topic and I no longer wish to follow it. Thanks for the info! Jamie

Pasadena Sub

I also noticed that I now get an email for my own posts, which doesn't bother me. Can anyone explain what the "Email Subscription Disabled" button is at the top of each thread? If I click it it changes to "Email Subscription Enabled," but what am I actually enabling/disabling? BTW it seems to always come up as disabled by default. Thanks, Jamie

The button on the top is how you can turn on or off email notifications for certain threads.  If you are getting email and you no longer want it you follow the link and click the button to say "Email Subscription Disabled".

If you are getting email from too many posts that will take too long to click on the button for them all.  Email Customerservice@kalmbach.com and let us know that you no longer want any email notifications from the forum and we can get that taken care of for you.  The setting under My Profile to "Disable Email notifications" does not work.  It is a bug with the software and we have notified the company that wrote this forum program.

I actually want to receive emails and it seems like I am, I am just wondering what the button at the top of the thread does. It seems like it is thread specific. Jamie

Seems the email thingy is messed up again. I'm still getting emails about this post and that post and the other posts. It’s very annoying to not be able to stop them.

Yeah, I had a few more than usual. I found out that when I answer or post a message, I get a copy of what I posted. That did not use to happen, at least it never did for me.
